Kathmandu. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Global IME Bank Limited and Lumbini Medical College and Teaching Hospital to provide up to 25 percent discount on various health services available at the hospital to Global IME Bank customers.
The said memorandum of understanding has been signed by the bank’s Lumbini Province Chief Shanta Shiwakoti and the hospital’s chairman Gopal Bahadur Pokharel. According to the agreement, the hospital will provide up to 25 percent discount on hospital services and drug treatment fees to the bank’s debit/credit card and bank’s mobile app (Global Smart Plus) users, the bank has stated.
The hospital will provide up to 25 percent discount on general hospital beds, laboratory tests, X-rays, ultrasonography, OPD and operations, among other services, to the bank’s customers. Chairman Pokharel said that after this partnership, Global IME Bank customers will receive quality healthcare services at reasonable rates and this collaboration will help the hospital expand its healthcare services and facilities.
Pokharel also clarified that this initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to providing accessible healthcare services. Similarly, Global IME Bank’s Lumbini Province Head Shanta Shiwakoti expressed confidence that the partnership with Lumbini Medical College and Teaching Hospital will benefit the bank’s customers and increase the number of users of the bank’s card and mobile banking services.
