General Secretary Thapa emphasizes the need to work towards solving the people’s problems

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the situation has not changed even though the system has changed due to the leadership style of the leader. Addressing a greeting exchange program on the occasion of the New Year 2082 organized by the Intellectual Professionals Council here today, he said that the leadership style should be changed.

‘Nowadays, citizens are looking for both purity and competence from the leadership. A leadership with competence and purity can solve the current problems,’ said General Secretary Thapa. Stating that the government should be able to provide services, he stressed on resolving the problems of teachers and cooperative victims.

Says that cooperative victims who have saved less than five lakh rupees have not been able to get their savings back even after a long period of time since the parliamentary committee formed under the leadership of MP Surya Thapa submitted its report on the cooperative investigation, he informed that the party is requesting the government and ministers to make the service flow faster and more efficient.

“We have said that the government should make the right decision, we will protect it, if it makes the wrong decision, we cannot defend it. We have maintained that the governor should not make it through the middleman, but through the process,” he said.

Chairman of the council, Dhruv Raj Thapa, stated that the country is in a difficult economic, social and political situation, and expressed his concern about such a situation. He emphasized that the leadership should pay attention to strengthening.

In the program, Koshi Province, Finance Committee expert Dhruv Ghimire, Non-Resident Nepali Association’s Rajendra Kumar Raut, Open University’s Dr. Chiranjivi Bhattarai and others said that the ruling party leaders should pay attention to the growing dissatisfaction due to the government’s failure to provide services on time.
