Kathmandu. Nepal Micro Insurance Company is holding its second annual general meeting today. A meeting of the company’s board of directors held on May 29 is scheduled to be held at Bharatpur Garden Resort in Bharatpur, Chitwan on May 15.
The meeting will approve the annual report for the last fiscal year 2080/81 to be submitted by the chairman on behalf of the board of directors. The assembly will approve the financial statements of the last fiscal year, profit and loss account and cash flow statement and related schedule.
The assembly will pass a resolution regarding the appointment of auditors and determination of their remuneration for the current fiscal year 2081/82 BS. The assembly will elect two directors representing the general shareholders.
According to the company, the meeting will approve the meeting allowance, daily travel allowance and other facilities of the directors as well as the expenses incurred by the company under its social responsibility.
The company has already closed the book for the general purpose on May 15. Only shareholders will be allowed to participate in the meeting till May 30.
