GDP size reaches Rs 6.1 trillion 7 billion, economic growth projected at 4.61 percent

Kathmandu. Nepal’s gross domestic product (GDP) has reached 6.1 trillion 7 billion. The National Statistics Office on Wednesday made public the GDP estimate, which is the size of the economy.

The office estimates that the economic growth will be 4.61 percent in the current fiscal year 2081/082. The economic growth rate in the last fiscal year 2080/81 was 3.67 percent, while in the fiscal year 2079/80 it was 1.98 percent.
