Kathmandu. The company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Panu Poudel has said that those who attacked and looted the Bhatbhateni Supermarket and Department Store on Chaitra 15 are not eligible for amnesty. CEO Poudel said that the attack, which tarnished the company’s reputation, did not send a good message.
After suggestions on social media that big-hearted businessman Min Bahadur Gurung should forgive people carrying small items, CEO Poudel said that it was time to think about whether he deserved to be forgiven.
He told Singha Durbar, “I would like to thank those who gave positive suggestions. We appreciate your concerns and sympathy. However, do those who vandalized the Koteshwor store and whose intentions were negative towards our establishment, deserve forgiveness? Such actions have seriously damaged our business and dedication. We understand that the situation is difficult and we always strive to move forward on the path of prosperity amidst difficulties. We want to, but is it possible to withstand such an attack immediately? However, we will move forward, seeking positive solutions for the good of all and future cooperation. Thank you.”
The company says that the attack on the 15th has severely damaged the company’s business environment. The store will honor employees who fought off the anarchic royalist looters on the 15th. The company is planning to hold a program to honor the employees on Wednesday.
The store was closed on Friday after the royalist protests turned violent. However, when the royalist looters vandalized the supermarket building and started looting the goods, the security guards and other employees resisted.
A video of Bhat Bhateni’s security guards chasing the looters is going viral on social media. The employees who performed their duties without fearing the anarchic crowds are being honored Bhatbhateni Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Panu Poudel informed.
CEO Poudel said, “We are going to honor the employees who were on the front lines performing their duties while an uncontrolled crowd was vandalizing and looting the Bhatbhateni Superstore in Koteshwor, Kathmandu, and the employees who were working on maintenance work throughout the night to continue the business.”
Enthused by the royalist movement on Chaitra 15, the looters vandalized Bhatbhateni, looted various goods, and damaged the building. The looting caused a total loss of 80 lakh 33 thousand 192 rupees to the market of Bhatbhateni.
