Furniture and Home Textile International Exhibition concludes, 30,000 visitors

Kathmandu. The Nepal Wood Furniture and Home Textile International Exhibition has been better than expected, the organizers have said. The fair, which began in Bhrikutimanda, Kathmandu on Friday, has seen enthusiastic participation, the organizers said.

The exhibition, jointly organized by Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt. Ltd. and ETSIPL, has been successful. Media Space Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Managing Director Sajal Bhattarai said that the 10th edition of the Nepal Wood, Furniture and Home Textile International Exhibition was better than expected.

He informed that international companies are also excited to participate in exhibitions to be held in Nepal in the coming days. He said that the visitors to the exhibition have been demanding model designs while building houses.

He said that he is ready to take the exhibition to all seven provinces. He informed that the state needs all the necessary support for that. He said that 70 percent of the visitors to the fair viewed the exhibition due to work and necessity. He said that 30 thousand visitors viewed the exhibition as per the target.

Raju Kumar Malla, First Vice President of the Nepal Forest Products Industry Entrepreneurs Federation, informed that the fair played an important role in increasing the business of wood furniture entrepreneurs. He said that the fair showed the need to take the business to innovation.

Shyam Shrestha, President of the Interior Designers Association of Nepal, said that the fair provided designers with an opportunity to learn about new technologies. He informed that there has been a situation where it is easier to use new technologies and products. He informed that such fairs need to be held in the coming days as well.
