Kathmandu. A free Ayurveda health camp is to be held in Helambu Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchowk. A health camp is being organized on Falgun 3 with the support of Helambu Rural Municipality and jointly organized by Madan Bhandari Memorial College, Dhanwantari Institute of Medical Sciences and Annapurna Times with the main slogan of ‘Comfort, Joy and Health’.
Program coordinator Dr. Sushma Saud informed that 10 BAMAs, one specialist doctor and one physiotherapist will travel from Kathmandu for the camp to be held at the health post in Helambu-7, Mahankal.
The camp will include general health check-ups and treatment for various diseases, such as bone and joint, intoxication, stomach problems, gastric, piles, She said that tests and consultations will be provided for various diseases including fissures, fistulas, and menstrual disorders.
‘Consultation will be provided on hospitals and treatment methods for complex diseases,’ she said, ‘All services and medicines provided by the health camp will be free.’ Dr. Saud said that public awareness messages on diet, lifestyle, yoga, and health will also be disseminated.
According to her, the target is to serve 500 people in the one-day camp. Helambu Rural Municipality has stated that it is informing the residents of each ward to benefit from the camp.
