Arghakhanchi. Free Ayurveda health camps have been organized at two places of Sandhikharka municipality of the district. Around 400 people underwent health check-ups from two camps. Locals have responded positively to the free health camps being organized in the villages.
A one-day free Ayurveda health camp was organized by Sandhikharka Municipality, Dibharana Ayurveda Dispensary Arghakhanchi targeting Sandhikharka-4 and 5 at Bangla and Sandhikharka-11, said Tilak Jung Janaidar, chief of Dibharana Ayurveda Dispensary.
In the camp, health check-ups were conducted on the service seekers suffering from bone pain, arthritis, gynaecology as well as general stomach related problems. In addition to health check-up, counseling, sugar, pressure check-up and medicines were distributed free of cost. Ayurveda doctor Dr Mahesh Bhusal and chief of the dispensary Janaidar served in the camp.
On the occasion, Ward Chair of Sandhikharka-4 Krishna Prasad Shrestha, Ward No. 5 Chair Rishabh Adhikari, Chief of Accounts Section of Sandhikharka Municipality Nawaraj Gautam, Ayurveda doctor Dr Ashish Chaudhary, Principal of Jeevanodwar Secondary School Nam Bahadur Bhat, Public Health Inspector of Sandhikharka Municipality Prakash Pariyar among others wished for the success of the camp.
Mayor of Sandhikharka Municipality, Krishna Prasad Shrestha, inaugurated the camp amidst a programme. Shrestha stressed the need to keep one’s body healthy, cool and busy at all times as health is a big asset of a person. He also urged the locals to take services from the camp, saying life would be easier if ayurvedic medicine system could be adopted.
Chief Administrative Officer of Sandhikharka Municipality Khimananda Bhusal, Ward No. 11 Chair Chet Narayan Acharya, Dispensary’s Baidya Teknath Bhusal, among others, spoke on the occasion.
