On the occasion, Prime Minister Dahal said that it was difficult to coordinate the government due to the existence of two groups and expressed his happiness at having come together. He suggested that the statutes of the two groups be certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and made one.

The press release states that President Dr. Badri KC and Binod Kunwar have been continuing talks and dialogue for a long time to unite the divided NRNA. A negotiation committee was formed under the coordination of NRNA activists Janaki Gurung and DB Chhetri. As per the agreement, the 11th general convention and elections will be held in October.
