Kathmandu. Four deputy directors of the Nepal Insurance Authority, the apex regulatory body of the insurance sector, have been promoted to directors.
The authority’s promotion committee on Friday recommended the promotion of four deputy directors to directors.
Dhruba Timalsina, Kundan Sapkota, Sambaraj Lamichhane and Nirmal Adhikari have been recommended for promotion to directors.
A director in the authority is considered to be a joint secretary.
With the promotion of the four, the number of directors in the authority will reach six. .
Just a few days ago, Sushildev Subedi was recommended for promotion to Executive Director.
The government has also initiated the process of appointing the chairman of the authority, for which 12 people have applied.
