Mugu. Four buildings were gutted in a fire that broke out in a hotel on the banks of Rara Lake here last night. It is reported that the buildings made of wooden structures were damaged by the fire. The Nepal Army, employees, Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force brought the fire under control this morning. As soon as the information about the fire was received, a 15-member police team led by Deputy Inspector of Police Deepak KC reached Rara from the district headquarters Gamgadhi.
According to the information given by the District Police Office, the fire that started in the hotel’s kitchen caused a gas cylinder to explode and damaged three other buildings.
The police, army and armed police immediately rescued the guests in the hotel and shifted them to nearby hotels, army barracks and the park office. Full details of the incident are yet to be released. RSS
