Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Samajwadi Party (New Power) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have met.
Chairman Bhattarai, who arrived in India on Friday to participate in the convention of the Progressive Nepali Society, and Indian Defense Minister Singh met in New Delhi today. During the meeting, they had positive discussions on further deepening the relations between the two countries, according to the secretariat of former Prime Minister Bhattarai.
According to the secretariat, discussions were held on how to take the economic relations between the two countries to new heights and make them more effective. During the meeting, Chairman Bhattarai expressed grief and condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India’s Kashmir region.
