Kathmandu. Chief Minister of Madhes Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has stressed the need to ban the illegal import of fish, eggs and chicken from the border points.

He said that eggs, fish and chicken meat, which have entered the border illegally, are not fit for consumption. As a result, farmers in Nepal are also facing problems, he said. Speaking at the Madhes state-level security seminar in Janakpur on Friday, Chief Minister Singh said that formalin was found to be used in fish coming from the Indian border and it was causing cancer.

Chief Minister Singh said, “We are in the open border. Because of our open border, a lot of goods are being taken down from here and there. Even if we want to, we can’t stop it. The nation had become self-sufficient in chicken, eggs and fish. However, the farmers here have suffered a lot due to unauthorized arrival from the border. The fish is coming from here to Kathmandu, which is packed from here to Kathmandu. It has to be stopped. After eating it, cancer definitely occurs. ’

Chief Minister Singh argued that if drugs are not controlled, it will have a big impact on the present society. He also demanded that the police be adjusted. He said it would be difficult to work without police with the government.
