Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba inspected the Tatopani border checkpoint in Sindhupalchowk and the customs office located there today and directed to further organize the border checkpoint. She gave the instructions today after inspecting the border checkpoint and the customs office, which is a Nepal-China trade checkpoint that generates more than 20 billion rupees in revenue annually.
Minister Dr. Rana said on the occasion that the Nepal government will also take necessary initiatives for this. He stressed that the border crossing is also important in terms of tourism promotion and that it will be easy to reach the religious tourist site of Mansarobar in China from here, so this border crossing should be further managed.
Minister Dr. Rana said on the occasion that the Nepal government will take necessary initiatives to upgrade the international trade route Kathmandu-Kodari Highway as well as other roads connected to this Tatopani border crossing.
In this regard, she had also consulted the Sindhupalchowk MP, local people’s representatives and other stakeholders for the upgrade.
