Bhojpur. After three months of closure, flights have resumed at the airport in Taksar, Bhojpur Municipality-12. Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft have resumed flights at the airport closed since last December, informed Prakash Khadka, station chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation Bhojpur. According to him, flights will now be conducted in Bhojpur as per the new schedule.
Only Nepal Airlines Corporation aircraft have been providing services here since 2035 BS. The airport, which has a runway of 545 meters long and 20 meters wide, does not receive flights from other aircraft. Patients and passengers referred to Kathmandu from the district hospital were affected when the flights were closed. One of the corporation’s two small aircraft is undergoing maintenance and the corporation has stated that flights will be easier once the maintenance is completed.
