First year of Deepal: Over 800 Deepals on the streets, 4 futuristic models unveiled

Kathmandu. Nepal’s leading luxury EV brand Deepal has celebrated its first year with remarkable achievements and important milestones.

Within a year of its launch in Nepal, Deepal has won the hearts and trust of more than 800 customers and established itself as Nepal’s No. 1 luxury EV brand. With the unmatched support and cooperation of customers, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp has established Deepal in ‘Electric Mobility and Innovation’.

In the first year, Deepal has launched four technically advanced EV models – Deepal S07, Deepal L07, Deepal S07 L and Deepal E07. With over 10 ‘industry-first’ features available in these EVs, such as ‘Gesture Control’, ‘AR-HUD’, ‘Sunflower Touchscreen’, Deepal has redefined customer expectations from EVs.

MAW Vriddhi currently operates charging stations in over 96 locations in Nepal, which is the largest network in Nepal. During this period, Deepal has made Nepal’s popular cricket icon and former captain Paras Khadka its official ‘brand ambassador’, while more than 30 famous celebrities and players from the country like Niti Shah, Sandeep Chhetri, Pratish GC, Sushant KC, Sweta Khadka, John Chamling Rai have made Deepal their travel companion.

In addition, Deepal has also brought celebrities like cricket legend Brian Lara and Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam to Nepal to increase the brand’s presence and show that Nepal can also be a destination for international collaboration.

In the first year of its public listing, MAW Vriddhi has contributed to ‘green mobility’ in Nepal through ‘EV innovation’ from Changan Auto, and has been awarded the ‘Shangri La’ New Energy Award’. In addition, ‘Techlekh’ honored the Deepal S07 with the ‘SUV of the Year 2024’.
