Kathmandu. Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay has taken charge. He took charge at the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel welcomed Ghanshyam Upadhyay at the Ministry’s Golden Hall and bid farewell to Secretary Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire.
The Council of Ministers meeting held on Monday had decided to transfer Finance Secretary Dr. Ram Prasad Ghimire. At the welcome program, Secretary Upadhyay said that employees of the Ministry of Finance will not be able to avoid work on this or that pretext. Finance Secretary Ghimire said, “There is no situation where employees of the Ministry of Finance will be able to avoid work due to any other issue, nor will they be able to do so.” Because with the problem, there is also a solution.’
Secretary Upadhyay, who has been in the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority for a few months, has indicated to the employees not to be afraid of authority. Former Finance Secretary Ghimire, on the other hand, has left the Finance Ministry, creating a controversial image. He has been given the responsibility of the President’s Office.
