Minister Poudel made the request during a discussion on BAFIA at the Finance Committee meeting under the House of Representatives on Friday.
Stating that he did not intend to pass the bill without necessary discussion, he stressed the need for holding adequate discussions and expediting it.
According to him, the Finance Committee is ready to support the Ministry of Finance and the Rastra Bank in the context of advancing the BAFIA Bill.
Finance Minister Poudel said, “We are discussing this bill related to BAFIA. I urge the committee to come to a conclusion as soon as possible. I am confident that the amendment and the committee will definitely cooperate for this. Let us come to an early conclusion on this bill. As soon as possible, let’s discuss the level at which the related topic demands, but let’s not delay. ”
Stating that there is a view that there should not be a provision to prevent a person with significant ownership from taking loans, he said that the Finance Minister should discuss it and reach a decision.
