Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance has formed a budget writing committee to write the budget for the fiscal year 2082/083.
The coordinator of the committee is Shree Krishna Nepal, Head of the Budget Division. The members include Dhani Ram Sharma, Chief of the Foreign Division, Uttar Kumar Khatri, Chief of the Revenue Division, Than Prasad Pangeni, Deputy Director General of the Inland Revenue Department, Tirtha Chiluwal, and Joint Controller General of Accounts Sushila Aryal.
The Budget Writing Committee is responsible for determining the principles and priorities of the budget, facilitating the prioritization of ministry-level projects and programs, preparing draft budget statements, and submitting suggestions on policies and programs, informed Coordinator Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance has provided the ministry-level limits for current, capital, financial management, and intergovernmental financial transfers, as well as the limits for financial transfers for the provinces and local levels, within the limits of the budget received from the national plan as decided by the Source Committee. .
The Financial Procedures and Accountability Act provides for sending the budget limit and budget formulation guidelines for the upcoming fiscal year by Falgun 15.
Similarly, the Ministry of Finance has provided the limit of equalization grant to the National Natural Resources and Finance Commission. The limit of supplementary and special grant has been provided to the National Planning Commission and the limit of conditional grant to the relevant line ministries.
The budget for projects of national pride and major projects has been sent by airmarking.
