Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has directed to give priority to inter-ministerial facilitation and coordination. In a meeting of the High-Level Management Group of the Ministry of Finance, Finance Minister Poudel directed the employees to give priority to inter-ministry works within the limits of the law.
Finance Minister Poudel said, “Let’s not go through the path that the Ministry of Finance will stop us. Let’s create an environment to complete the work quickly by facilitating it on the basis of priority. Stating that it was necessary to go for a result-oriented practice, Finance Minister Poudel directed to carry out the work with extra hard work to meet the targets.
He stressed the need to set monthly and annual targets for the next fiscal year in a result-oriented manner based on the practical aspects. Stating that there was a need to amend the laws while implementing the upcoming budget, Finance Minister Poudel directed to carry out the homework of the amendment in consultation with all.
Finance Minister Poudel also directed the officials concerned to prepare for the implementation of the budget for the upcoming fiscal year. In the meeting, Finance Secretary Ghanshyam Upadhyay and Revenue Secretary Dinesh Ghimire directed the division chiefs and departmental chiefs to facilitate revenue collection and increase capital expenditure by putting extra hard work.
