Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that the federal government is serious about focusing on projects and programs of federal importance. He said this while responding to questions raised by lawmakers during the discussion in the Finance Committee regarding the budget preparation for the upcoming fiscal year.
He said that the lawmakers have emphasized that the federal government should focus on projects and programs of federal importance and the government is serious about it. He said that there is a three-tier government and a list of the powers of the three-tier government and common lists have also been determined, and that it is somewhat difficult to follow the institutionalized management. He said that although it took some time to get used to the constitution, it will not take long now.
Deputy Prime Minister Poudel said that the parliamentarians had given important suggestions from the budget for the upcoming fiscal year and expressed his commitment to prepare the budget by incorporating the suggestions. He said that while preparing the budget, the size of the budget, allocation skills and ensuring implementation, as well as determining priorities, will be discussed.
