Kathmandu. A hunger strike has been launched demanding the dissolution of the ad hoc committee of the Tarun Dal, saying it is unable to hold the general convention. Tarun central members Rojan Rai and Ambika Baskota have started a hunger strike to death at the Congress headquarters in Sanepa.

They claim that criminal acts such as khukuri attacks on cadres in Lamjung were committed by forming factions in the organization, falsely publicizing the budget allocated for building construction, defaming Ganeshman Singh and the entire party and creating controversy, and that the responsibility of acting in more than 50 districts was given to acting incumbents.

Similarly, despite the directive to hold a general convention within 3 months of the local and general elections in 2078 BS, the ad hoc committee has not been able to hold a single district convention for 3 years despite repeated extensions, and the ad hoc committee should be dissolved because the party’s central committee has decided that the party’s term will automatically end from mid-Chait 2081 BS. .

They have drawn attention to the need to establish a system of punishing rather than rewarding organizations or individuals who fail to fulfill their responsibilities.
