Falgun. Everest Bank Limited has officially inaugurated its 130th branch in Phidim, Panchthar and 131st in Phungling, Taplejung.
With the aim of providing cutting-edge, sustainable, robust and reliable banking services and facilities to its customers in the eastern hilly districts of Koshi Province, the bank officially inaugurated its 130th branch in Phidim Municipality Ward No. 1, Panchthar on Falgun 8, 2081 BS and its 131st branch in Phungling Municipality Ward No. 4, Taplejung on Falgun 9, 2081 BS.
With the opening of branches in Phidim and Phungling, the bank has expressed its commitment to provide simple, convenient and technology-friendly services to the citizens of Panchthar and Taplejung districts. With the inauguration of Everest Bank branches, local consumers of the places will receive state-of-the-art banking services of national standard.
The inauguration ceremony of Phidim and Phungling branches was attended by the bank’s Director Kiran Krishna Shrestha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Vijay Kumar Sharma, and Koshi Province Chief Sudhir Gautam, as well as the Chief of Phidim Municipality at Phidim branch, Mr. Mitra Prasad Kafle, and the Chief of Phungling Municipality at Phungling branch, Amir Maden, along with representatives of the Government of Nepal and local organizations, bank employees, and local residents.
With the opening of its 130th and 131st branches in Phidim and Phungling, the bank will now contribute further to the economic activities of this region and contribute to the overall economic development.
