Kathmandu. Everest Bank Limited has formally inaugurated its 130th branch in Phidim Municipality Ward No. 1, Panchthar and its 131st branch in Phungling Municipality Ward No. 4, Taplejung.
The bank has inaugurated the branches with the objective of providing state-of-the-art, sustainable, robust and reliable banking services and facilities to its customers in the eastern hilly districts of Koshi Province. The bank has opened branches in Panchthar on Falgun 28 and in Taplejung since Falgun 30.
With the opening of branches in Phidim and Phungling, the bank has committed to providing simple, convenient and technology-friendly services to the citizens of Panchthar and Taplejung districts.
With the opening of Everest Bank branches, local consumers in those places will receive state-of-the-art banking services of national standard.
At the inauguration ceremony of Phidim and Phungling branches, the bank was represented by Director Kiran Kumar Shrestha, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Vijay Kumar Sharma and Koshi Province Chief Sudhir Gautam, as well as Phidim branch officials. The formal program was held in the presence of the Mayor of Phidim Municipality, Mitra Prasad Kafle, and the Mayor of Phungling Municipality, Amir Maden, as well as representatives of the Government of Nepal and local organizations, bank employees, and local residents.
The bank is confident that with the opening of its 130th and 131st branches in Phidim and Phungling, it will contribute further to the economic activities of the region and further support the overall economic development.
