Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has left for New Delhi to participate in the ‘India Energy Week-2025’. Minister Khadka left for New Delhi this afternoon to participate in the Energy Week, which is being held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, from Magh 29.
The conference, which is being organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of India and the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industries, will discuss the pioneering model for India’s low-carbon growth economy.
The program will further highlight the commitment of the Government of India to energy access, security, affordability and sustainability. India’s Energy Week is said to inspire a clean energy future for all.
The event, which will be inaugurated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is expected to be attended by 70,000 energy professionals from 10 countries. It is said that 90 different sessions will be held, 500 speakers will give their views and 700 companies will set up exhibition booths.
Minister Khadka will address two ministerial-level sessions on ‘Clean Cooking’ and ‘Energy Access Gap’ at the event. Senior energy expert Prabal Adhikari and economist Amit Shrestha of the ministry have left for New Delhi to participate in the program along with Minister Khadka.
