Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Deepak Khadka has said that the government will not stand idly by and watch the chaotic activities of Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Kulman Ghising. Speaking at a meeting of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, Minister Khadka made this comment.
He accused Executive Director Khadka of disobeying the government and not implementing the decisions of the board of directors. He also mentioned that 100 percent investment in the electricity sector belongs to the government. He said that after he came, load shedding was not eliminated and electricity was imported from India because transmission lines had already been built.
He said that if Kulman had done good work, he could have been rewarded after analyzing it, but he should not be considered a god. He also urged everyone not to talk baselessly about the issue of an employee of the Government of Nepal.
