Kathmandu. Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, has complained that he has been complaining about load-shedding by calling from abroad. He made the complaint while addressing a meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee under the House of Representatives held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
He said that he was making calls from abroad and saying that the lights were gone and those spreading confusion used to call him even at 12 o’clock in the night. He said that when he asked the place where the lights went out, he called the place of Nepal and understood that the light did not go away, but the light went away.
Minister Khadka also urged the people to remain in reality without engaging in such propaganda and informed that if it is obstructed, it has been obstructed due to this. Claiming that there was no load-shedding due to lack of production, he said that necessary electricity was provided even after importing it at the time of low production.
He said, “I get calls from abroad, I pick up the phone, they have come again and again. And they tell us where the lights went. This is how confusion has been spread. Call from the same number again and again, call at 12 o’clock in the night, where did we go in line. It’s everywhere to understand there. This kind of propaganda is being spread. I urge you to stay in reality without indulging in such propaganda. If it is blocked, we say that it is blocked due to this. There has been no load shedding due to lack of production, we have provided the required electricity even after importing it at a time when there is less production. ’
He said nepal’s prosperity is possible through energy, tourism and agriculture.
