Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has emphasized that political parties should make issues of public concern a common issue.
He said this while launching the ‘Mission Employment’ campaign launched by the Nepali Congress at the party’s central office in Sanepa on Sunday with the goal of ‘Employment at the center of political discussions – Employment as the government’s priority’.
He said that political parties should make issues that affect the citizens a common issue apart from political issues. He said that climate change, climate production and trade, and things that accelerate infrastructure construction should become common issues for all political parties.
He said that the issue of increasing employment should be a burning common issue and that the Congress should lead it.
General Secretary Sharma said, “In addition to the debates held by political parties, the actions of parties, the agendas of parties, and the competition of parties, now the issues of public concern, issues that touch the citizens should be addressed. Whether it is the issue of climate change or the issue of hydropower production and trade, it is a common issue. The issue of the responsibility to provide good governance is a common issue. The speed to increase infrastructure construction is a matter of common national priority.” The issue of creating and increasing employment is a burning common issue and the Nepali Congress Party should take the initiative in this.
General Secretary Sharma stated that it is not possible to reach a new destination by following the old path and said that the current problems can be solved only through the path of a federal democratic republic.
