Kathmandu. CPN (Unified Socialist) General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal has said that employment generation and good governance could not be maintained in the country as the political leadership required by the republic was useless.
Sharma made the remarks while speaking at an interaction programme on current political problems and solutions held in Kathmandu on Friday.
Leader Bhusal said that the executive leadership of the republic has exploited the resources of the state to stay in power. He said that the alliance between the capitalists who earn profit but do not open enterprises and the leaders who live on unearned wealth is the main reason for the country’s development and good governance.
Describing the chain of crony capitalism, corruption and unemployment as the main crisis of the republic, Bhusal said that only a change of leadership can come out of the crisis.
He said, “The leadership that our republic needed has become useless. It turned to exploitation of the state, which did not lead to employment and good governance. He had to exploit the state to remain in power. Some people say that this country is ruined. It’s not like that. This country has been ruined due to the great efforts of the leaders. This coalition of profit-making capitalists, non-enterprise capitalists and leadership that live on unearned wealth, which I have called crony capitalism. All the sins regarding Nepal’s development are the same which has prevented our good governance and development. Now the solution is to leave that place because I am the executive leader of the republic. ’
He said that if we do not understand the country’s situation and work accordingly, characters who challenge the system will continue to be born in the society.
