Kathmandu. The 11th Annual General Meeting of the Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry has concluded. The assembly has expressed its commitment to promote investment in Nepal, expand the tourism sector and strengthen trade relations between Nepal and Italy.
During the program, Sanjay Agrawal, President of the Association, mentioned that the journey of political and economic relations between Nepal and Italy was established on August 31, 1959 and said that the role of the Association is important in the goal of expanding bilateral cooperation in a balanced and sustainable manner.
Former Minister Rajesh Kazi Shrestha expressed his continued support for the promotion of Nepal-Italy trade. The general assembly honored individuals and organizations that have contributed to Nepal-Italy economic relations.
Patron of the association Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and Honorary Consul Pratibha Pandey were honored with special honors and Ashanka Shamsher Jabra was honored as the ‘Best Member of the Year’ for 2024.
