Kavrepalanchok. Kavrepalanchok-Punyawati Transportation Company has launched electric vehicles (EV Micro) from today. The company, which had been providing services through minibuses earlier, has started services from Khopasi and Shankhu in Panauti Municipality from today.
The company has started providing services by establishing two new routes, namely from Khopasi and Shankhu via Panauti Bus Park, going to Koteshwor-Tinkune and returning to Khopasi and Shankhu. The company’s chairman Rajesh Sundar Saiju inaugurated the EV Micro operation at Maneshwori Park in Panauti. “Currently, we will provide service with five (five) EV micros on two routes, and we will add more later as needed,” he said.
The company has stated that it will provide service with electric vehicles at the same fare as minibuses with the aim of providing fast service, keeping in mind the environment, technology, and passenger density. Currently, an 11-seat capacity EV micro has been brought into operation from Khopasi and a 14-seat capacity EV micro from Shankhu.
