Eight projects in Kanchanpur prioritized in budget

Kanchanpur. Kanchanpur: The budget for seven projects in Kanchanpur has been ensured. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel presented the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS in the joint sitting of the federal parliament on Thursday.

According to the budget presented, the construction of Daiji-Chhela Industrial Area will be carried out in collaboration with the Private and Tourism Board. Shuklaphanta-Khaptad trekking route will be conducted to promote tourism areas, construction of dry port at Dodhara-Chandani will be taken forward, brahmadev-Jhulaghat-Tusarpani section under Mahakali corridor will be upgraded along with upgradation of Gaddachauki-Attariya road section of East-West Highway.

Rs 21.19 billion has been allocated for upgrading the Gaddachauki-Attariya road section of the East-West Highway. Kanchanpur, Kailali, Banke, Bardiya, Dang and tharu communities are going to adopt the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment of sickle cell anemia, which is a serious health problem.

The third phase of mahakali irrigation project will be completed within three years. The work of upgrading the road section is going to be started from the next fiscal year. In the budget, the problems of landless Dalits, slum dwellers and disorganized settlers will be solved permanently by amending the land-related laws.

Within the next fiscal year, 500,000 families will be provided land ownership registration certificates. There will be no shortage of resources, resources and manpower for this purpose, the budget statement said. In Kanchanpur, land measurement is being carried out by filling the posts of office-bearers in the Land Commission. Construction of dodhara-Bareilly 400 kv national and inter-country transmission line will be taken forward.

Kanchanpur: A budget has been allocated to complete the construction of postal highway in Kanchanpur within two years. Reacting to the budget, former Constituent Assembly member Kriparam Rana said that the budget presented in the joint session of the parliament has come in a balanced manner. “The budget itself is action-oriented,” he said, adding, “In the past, the budget used to come only on a policy basis, the work did not move forward, i am confident that the current budget will be implemented.” ’

Stating that the work of Daiji-Chhela industrial sector should move forward, he said the work in the industrial sector should move forward quickly without delay. Professor of Sudurpaschim University and former dean of the Faculty of Management, Dr Bharati Joshi, said that the implementation aspect should be made effective as the budget should not be brought only. He said that the budget has come as a continuation of the old budget. “Development will pick up pace only if capital expenditure is high,” he said, adding, “Employment opportunities will be created and the country will move towards economic prosperity.” ’
