‘E-Learning Center’ established at Sanodumma Secondary School in Bhojpur

Bhojpur. An e-learning center has been established at Sanodumma Secondary School in Pauwadung Rural Municipality. The e-learning center has been established to emphasize timely technology-friendly education for students.

The Ishwar Mandir Kathmandu campaign has established an e-learning center at the school. Ishwar Mandir has distributed 20 desktop computers, one smart TV and one WiFi set to operate the center here. The center was brought into operation by distributing materials worth Rs 800,000 to the school, informed Sanket Koirala, general secretary of Ishwar Mandir Kathmandu.

The school’s principal, Khagendra Dhakal, said that the establishment of the e-learning center has helped students in technology-friendly education. He informed that technology-friendly teaching will be provided by forming groups based on the need, school, time and other times than school. ‘We have succeeded in establishing an e-learning center in our school,’ he said. ‘The establishment of the center has made it easier to provide technology-friendly teaching to students in a timely manner. Now we emphasize on technology-friendly teaching.’ He said that emphasis will be placed on teaching by forming groups to provide technology-related knowledge to all students.

At the center establishment program in Pauwadung, Rural Municipality Chairman Kiran Rai said that emphasis has been placed on technology-friendly teaching along with improving the educational quality of community schools. Chairman Rai said that the rural municipality is working systematically on life-useful education as education is the first basis for social reform.

Chairman Rai said, “We are investing in a modern education system along with physical construction in collaboration with various bodies along with the rural municipality. Since education itself helps in building a prosperous society, we are working with priority in the field of education. Chairman Rai said that attention has been paid to making all 32 community schools within the rural municipality technology-friendly along with systematic libraries.”

Former Finance Minister Shankar Prasad Koirala said that as science and technology have made leaps in recent times, it is necessary to make the education system technology-friendly. He said that the Ishwor Mandir Kathmandu Campaign has been supporting schools with the aim of supporting digital technology in teaching and learning.

‘Today’s era is the era of science and technology, we also need to advance education in line with the times. We are conducting the necessary encouragement by running a campaign to connect remote schools with technology,’ said former Finance Minister Koirala. He said that the Ishwor Mandir Kathmandu Campaign was established in 2056 BS and has been conducting necessary encouragement and support programs.
