Birgunj. The Sirsia-based Dry Port Customs Office has collected Rs 23.34 billion 33.18 million in revenue during the first six months of the current fiscal year. The office has been able to collect only 38.87 percent of the total annual target.
The office’s revenue collection has decreased by Rs 1.45 billion 41.79 million in the same period of the current fiscal year compared to the first six months of the previous fiscal year.
The office collected Rs 3.75 billion 22 million in revenue during the month of Shrawan of the current fiscal year. Similarly, in the month of Bhadra, it collected Rs 4.643 billion, in the month of Asoj, Rs 4.364 billion, and in the month of Kartik, Rs 3.792 billion.
Similarly, in the month of Mangsir, Rs 3.228 billion and in the month of Poush, Rs 3.562 billion were collected. In the six months of the last fiscal year, the office collected Rs 24.797 billion. 497 million in revenue.
