Kathmandu. Today is a happy day, a day to remember the sacrifices, to remember the struggles and to celebrate the successes. The day when the people defeated the king through a peaceful movement and took back their rights and made him sovereign, is a day of victory. That is why today, as a victory celebration, a festival of youth, a concert has been organized to celebrate this. I would like to express my happiness. On this occasion, I would like to share this happiness of all Nepalis with everyone.

We had to live without rights for thousands of years, not centuries. In recent times, we had to endure the oppression of the Shahi King for 240 years. Within 104 years, the Rana regime entered and the Nepali people had to suffer and suffer under double oppression and oppression. We had to go through a long period of time where we were deprived of rights, unable to read, write, speak, where the world has reached on the path of development, where we have to stay where we are, where we have to starve, where all possibilities of development are closed, where development is only for them, not for the people.

Even after we brought democracy, the monarchy repeatedly took away our rights, and again pushed the country back into the dark ages. We fought a sacrificial struggle against them, enduring many prisons, underground, exile, various types of torture and hardships, and we continued the struggle, and we have successfully reached this place today.

I want to tell my young friends, now you will have to take the country forward. Now, voices are starting to be heard trying to rule the country based on the hypocritical theory of superiority by birth, which has no scientific basis, on the basis of clan, superiority by birth, which has no scientific basis, and on the basis of unscientific hypocritical theory, which has no scientific basis, and trying to bring back the feudal era. In that name, people have been disrespecting democracy in the country, disrespecting the constitution, insulting the sacrifice of the people, insulting the struggle, rejecting success and making fun of it. In order to push the country towards regression, people are being killed, vandalized, arsonists, and attacks on individual homes, party offices, as well as business establishments or media offices, such media houses, or by showing a wild, monstrous tendency, they have clearly shown what kind of rule they are trying to impose on the people, what kind of dictatorship they are trying to bring.

Now, the youth must dare to reject such things in a visible, audible, and understandable way. Rejecting such things, we should work to protect the country, democracy, and the constitution and move the country forward on the path of good governance and prosperity. That is why we have said – prosperous Nepal, happy Nepalis. The history of the past 30 years has shown that only in democracy can the country move forward towards prosperity, what was the situation 30 years ago. What pace has development taken nationwide in the past 30 years, whether it is in the field of infrastructure or other fields, what is the system that loves the people in the health or social sectors, who is doing it, from senior citizen devotees to making arrangements for street children, from making arrangements for street people, to not allowing beggars to exist, no one should be a beggar, if someone tries to be a beggar in a wrong way, we have done those things to reject such things.

Today, various elements are trying to do provocative things, push the country on the wrong path and towards chaos, push the country towards indiscipline and confuse the youth. Such attempts are being made to boast that the youth is with them and to spread confusion. Some people are being deployed on various social media, by paid people, by some people, to spread confusion throughout the country. Therefore, we need to be aware and vigilant about such things, it is necessary. I would like to urge our youth, now is the time for us to be aware of ourselves, to be able to decide what to reject, what to accept and what to move forward. We had said earlier, now is the time for the youth in the country and for the youth, we need to move forward through the path of education, income management or entrepreneurship and employment. The youth must be kept physically and mentally healthy. That is, we said, education, knowledge, learning are the same thing. Learning, earning and pressure, that is, education, entrepreneurship and health, should be taken forward. For this, each of us should be aware. Today, there are many attempts to lure the youth into wrong things, to lure them into drugs, to lure them into drugs. We should be able to reject this and we should move forward with a conscious determination to build the country, not into drugs. For this, I am confident that the youth community will move forward with great awareness.

The day when the 19-day continuous struggle of the youth community turned back the monarchy and dissolved the dissolved parliament, returned the snatched people’s rights and forced them to turn back from authority, from direct rule, from dictatorship. That is why we are remembering today and celebrating this day as a celebration. We are remembering this day as a victory, remembering our solar power. We must protect our country by breaking through various types of illusions without hesitation, by being proactive ourselves, we must build our country, not by leaning towards the tendency to migrate abroad, not towards the glitter of foreign countries, we can make this country not just glitter, we can make it more beautiful, we can make it better, we can make it prosperous.

Within 30 years, there have been some ups and downs in democracy, some wrong tendencies have emerged, some wrong tendencies have also been defeated, they have spread illusions and some countries have suffered confusion. However, by breaking through those things, we are now moving forward with a clear path and vision. Therefore, I would like to urge that today’s youth must move forward not with confusion, not with illusions, but with a clear vision. I have come to believe that the power to change the country and change the world lies with the people.

Children are the people, but children cannot do anything, old people are also the people, but old people cannot do much either, they do whatever they are told to do at a young age. Therefore, I want to tell the youth, you must resolve to build the country, you must give concrete form to your resolve. If necessary, we must be ready to enter the field of struggle and the struggle that our elders, our ancestors have made to bring the country to this point. Today, the determination of our young generation and active efforts for that are necessary to move forward while protecting those achievements. We cannot move forward without determination and without active efforts. For this, I would like to urge the youth to be confident, do not be under any illusion, because we have taken a clear stance of nationalism, foreign agents have been working against the CPN (UML). Not only that, because of our nationalist stance, because of our perspective and because of our struggle, because of our pro-people attitude, because of democratic practices, conduct, perspective and clear policies to move the country forward, various types of forces have come to us and have tried to spread various types of illusions day by day.

In everything, every day, they have started saying that the government will go, the government will go… In a democracy, a long government is formed for five years. And this is not a dictatorship, it is not a totalitarian system, it is not a stability that is said to be ruled by a dynasty for 50 years, for a hundred years, for 250 years, for 104 years. The stability we mean is democratic stability, stability of mobility, stability with the people’s consent. At present, the joint government of the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress is a government formed with determination. It is a government formed for stability and stability. It provides that stability and stability and is moving forward by providing that. We should not worry too much about the government, we should worry about the elections. That is why the CPN (UML) has not shouted to form a government, save the government.

The CPN (UML) has always looked at elections. We have said the 2070 elections, we have said the 2074 elections, we have said the 2079 elections and we have said the 2084 elections, we have said Mission 084. I would like to urge my friends to embark on Mission 084 with confidence. Running the government, leading the government, participating in the government, whatever needs to be done here, according to the current structure of the parliament, the CPN (UML) will make every effort to move the country forward in the right way. So don’t worry about this. Pay attention to Mission 084. Mission 084 is the mission to develop the UML as a decisive national force. Through that, the country will be built, through that, the country will move towards prosperity, through that, national unity will be achieved. Therefore, we seek unity in many kinds of diversity and seek unity in equality. There are many kinds of efforts being made here, there are efforts to incite communal hatred in many ways, to divide and divide Nepalis. There are efforts to divide in the name of caste, religion, language, culture, geography and many other names.

We should be clear about such misdeeds and misdeeds and should move the country forward on the path of prosperity by uniting the country, protecting democracy, and protecting the constitution. You can do that work, the youth can do it. Youth leadership is established through work, through ability, through ability, through leadership of the movement, through leadership of development. I would like to sincerely urge the youth to take their leadership forward clearly and openly.

Now, let me not take too much time. Rather than taking too much time, I would like to urge you, I was not in the mood to talk much today, because this is a festival, a celebration. It is a matter of us celebrating this celebration accordingly. I would like to urge the youth to join in this celebration and be happy.

Nepal is a great Nepal. The Nepali people are great Nepalis and I am confident that our new generations will emerge as great people and take the country forward. Rest assured, the CPN (UML) will lead it without losing the way and is capable of doing so. Having said that, regarding this celebration, regarding this festival, regarding this glorious day, we will have to make a new resolution again, make a new resolution, with a clear vision, let us move forward as a whole country unitedly on the path to make the dream of a prosperous Nepal, happy Nepalis, which is the aspiration of the nation, a success. For that, our youth must lead from their respective places nationwide. I conclude my remarks by calling on the youth to move forward with leadership and expressing my best wishes to you.
