Inaruwa. A bus has been handed over to Jamia Islamia Madarsha in Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-4 here.
The bus was formally handed over to the school administration during a program on Wednesday, informed Ward Chairman of Rural Municipality-2 Alam Ansari. He said that the bus, which was purchased by collecting donations from locals, was handed over to the school.
Rural Municipality Chairman Ajmal Akhtar Azad handed over the key of the bus to the school principal Samim Akhtar Falahi. Thanking the locals for collecting donations and handing over the bus to the school, he said that this is a historic step towards promoting education.
‘We have committed to making the rural municipality education-friendly. Accordingly, such programs have been prioritized to enhance the quality of education through collaboration between the government and the private sector,’ said Chairman Azad.
The school’s principal, Falahi, said that children coming from far away were facing problems due to the lack of vehicles in the school.
‘Students coming from far away used to come to study using private, friends’ or public vehicles. Now there will be some relief. “Thank you to everyone who helped with this,” he said happily.
