Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Nepali Congress (NC) Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire has said that the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) was protesting in the parliament with vengeance. He said this while talking to media persons after holding discussions with chief whips convened by Speaker Devraj Ghimire.
Stating that it was not good to disrupt the parliament with vengeance even after reaching an agreement, he argued that it was not good to disrupt the parliament even after home minister Ramesh Lekhak had said that the process would be forwarded within a month.
“They will be able to express their views of their party. We have nothing to say about it. They also almost came to an agreement. They said the time should be fixed. The Home Minister later said that he would start the work within 30 days. He also set a time frame. What do you want now? It was not difficult to understand that they were trying to take revenge by accusing the Home Minister of what happened purely to their president. There was nothing else in it. ’
Chief Whip Ghimire said parliament cannot be used for vengeance. He said that obstructing and restricting parliament is restricting the rights of the sovereign common people.
