Kathmandu. Disputes between banks and financial institutions and borrowers are increasing. The number of cases registered in Falgun has increased compared to the previous month (Magh).
In Falgun of the current fiscal year 2081/082, 67 cases have been registered in the Debt Recovery Tribunal. Which is 13 more than in Magh. A total of 54 cases were registered last month.
According to the details made public by the tribunal, a total of 17 cases have been decided in Falgun and 3 have been settled. Similarly, the details released by the Debt Recovery Tribunal show that 738 cases are pending for decision and settlement by the month of Falgun.
Similarly, there are 29 cases that have been decided in the month of Falgun. The total recovery amount for the month of Falgun of 2081/082 is Rs. 145.664.307.
A total of 54 cases were registered in the Debt Recovery Tribunal in the seventh month (Magh) of the current fiscal year 2081/082. Which is 48 less than the previous month (Pus). In December, 102 such cases were registered.
It seems that banks and financial institutions will have to recover billions of rupees in loans from these cases.
