Kathmandu. A delegation led by Karan Chaudhary, President of NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA), has held discussions with Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari.
The discussions were held in the context of preparations for the National Labor and Employment Conference to be organized by the ministry in the capital on Falgun 26 and 27.
During the said meeting and discussions, various issues such as cooperation in training in the automobile sector, building necessary manpower, identifying venues outside the automobile sector, establishing training centers, collaborating between ministries, and conducting two levels of consensus at the internal and national levels were discussed, according to NADA. .
The meeting and discussion took place in the context of the ministry organizing the conference with the main objective of taking feedback on the strategic action plan for the decade of domestic employment promotion for productivity growth, analyzing the challenges faced in the domestic and foreign employment sector and seeking suggestions for future policy and legal amendments, and establishing inter-level/inter-agency coordination and collaboration for creating a labor and employable environment, NADA has informed.
Similarly, the ministry will collaborate and coordinate with NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal and there will also be a stall of NADA at the employment conference.
Senior officials in the said meeting and discussion Vice President Akash Golchha, Vice President Rajan Babu Shrestha, General Secretary Surendra Kumar Upreti, Co-Treasurer Pankaj Agrawal, Central Working Committee members Kapil Shiwakoti, Dipendra Kumar Mishra, Nawaraj Bhusal, Prakash Kapoori, Pradipman Pradhan, Abhik Jyoti, Nilamani Pathak, Navin Kumar Parakh, and Narayan Prasad Poudel were present. Similarly, WADA President Dipendra Koirala was also present in the discussion.
The delegation led by NADA President Karan Chaudhary also discussed in detail the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the National Vocational Training Institute (NAVT) under the ministry and the Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) on the development, operation and implementation of employment-oriented short-term training in the automobile sector on a cost-sharing basis, and ensuring employment for trainees, according to NADA.
The Automotive Skill Development Council (ASDC) will provide necessary support to NADA for this work.
