Dipal’s electric vehicle delivery 5 00,000, aims to sell 2 million worldwide by 2030

Kathmandu. Dipal, the new energy vehicle brand under shanghai-changan automobile, has crossed 500,000 units of deliveries worldwide. In May alone, Dipal sold 25,521 utine EVs, an increase of 78 per cent over May last year and 27 per cent higher than April this year.

Currently, five models are being sold under the Dipal brand namely SL03, S07, G318, L07, S05 and S09. Dipal A09 was officially released on May 22.

The six-seater SUV Dipal S09 is available in five trims. The S09 Harmony Space 5 is the first car with a smart cockpit system. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio of 21.4 inches with a 3K ceiling mounted rear entertainment system, which can tilt from 0 to 75 degrees.

The infotainment system also has dynamic panoramic sound, kids exclusive assistant, kids exclusive assistant, customizable scene blocks and spatial magic cube function. It also comes with Huawei’s Qian Kun Intelligent ADS 3.3 driving assistant system. Dipal has said that it will upgrade ADS4 to S09 by the end of this year. The new ADS4 system, to be built in the WEWA architecture, will increase end-to-end latency by 50 percent, traffic efficiency by 20 percent and reduce hard breaking frequency by 30 percent.

Dipal plans to build 300 new experience centers in China next year. Dipal, which has entered Southeast Asia and the Middle East markets, has already entered Europe this year. At Dipal Brand Night in May, CEO Deng Chenghao unveiled the Smart Lead 2030 World Policy, which aims to sell two million cars worldwide by 2030. Under this scheme, Changan will launch 30 new models.
