Kathmandu. Heritage Hotel ‘Arya Hotel and Spa’ has come into operation in Thamel to reflect Nepali art, culture and hospitality. The hotel TAG_CLOSE_span_14 has been brought into operation under the sole ownership of Krishna Simkhada, a non-resident Nepali from Dhading, who has spent nearly two and a half decades in Japan.

At a press conference organized here on Wednesday, operator Simkhada said that he has invested in his own country seeing the future in Nepali tourism. “I got the opportunity to learn important things while living in Japan, preserving their art and culture for a long time. I also started building a hotel thinking that I should come to my own country and do something. ”

According to Simkhada, Thamel is a means of identifying Nepal abroad. Most tourists coming to Nepal do not return until they reach Thamel. He said that while returning home from Nepal, they built the hotel with their own thinking so that they could return with the unique experience of Nepali art and culture. Efforts have been made to make the hotel different and original. Nepali craftsmanship welcomes you as you enter through the main gate.

Employees dressed in traditional attire perform hospitality. From the first floor, you can see an unmatched presentation of Newari craftsmanship here. Attempts have been made to reflect Nepaliness in the hotel’s chairs, chairs and cushions. The hotel is located at Thamel Narsingh Chowk. In the lobby of the hotel, you can see excellent woodwork with a mixture of peacock windows and country-made windows.

Nepali artworks such as tundal, falcha, ankhi window, which are seen as hotels, fascinate anyone. Simkhada said that nepali tradition has been adopted to welcome the guests. According to him, rs 2.5 billion has already been invested in the hotel, which was built on about 20 annas of land.

Simkhada said, “Everyone comes to see chilla hotels from abroad, but if the hotels reflecting Nepali art and culture can be built, it will help in preserving and promoting our culture.” There are 41 deluxe rooms in the 72-room hotel, which are designed in two styles, modern and traditional. Nepali art can be seen more in the rooms designed in the traditional style.

Telia bricks made in Bhaktapur have been laid in the heritage rooms of the hotel. In the traditional style of room, wood work can be seen from the mirror frame to the door of the drawer. The hotel rooms have been designed to be swayambhu, dharahara and city view.

On the 12th floor of the hotel, there is an all-day dining restaurant named ‘Sora’. There is also ‘Sky Line Sora’ next to it. You can have dinner enjoying the sky walk on the glass of the Sora Sky Line. Simkhada told reporters that there are different categories of rooms ranging from $160 to $1,600.
