Devotees are flocking to Shiva temples including Shiva Panchayan Temple in Byas Municipality-3, Muktinath Chawayandham in Shuklagandaki Municipality-2, and Shivalaya Temple in Ambukhaireni.
Homnath Lamsal, chairman of the temple management committee, informed that devotees come to visit the temple with the belief that after worshipping at the Shukleshwor Mahadev temple in Muktinath Chawayandham, childless people will get children.
According to him, the Shukleshwor Mahadev temple built in Chawayandham, the temples of Surya Narayan, Lakshmi Narayan, Durga Bhavani and Ganesh built around it attract devotees who come here. .
Along with the temple, one hundred and eight dharas, one hundred and eight Omkar Kalpavriksha, one hundred and eight Shivalingas, Moksha Kund, old age home, park and other structures have been constructed here. A Buddhist monastery has been built here targeting Buddhists.
The country’s largest Hanuman temple will be built
A temple with the country’s largest Hanuman statue is to be built in Devghat Rural Municipality-5 of Tanahun. The gathering held in Devghat has formed a committee for the construction of the Amodinath Hanuman Dham Tapasthali Temple. Keshav Chandra Neupane has been elected as the chairman of the committee.
Chairman Neupane said that the Hanuman structure located within the Madhuvan Community Forest Group in Devghat-5 will be rebuilt and made into a large temple in the country.
Since the current Amodinath Hanuman Tapasthali Temple is located within the Madhuvan Community Forest, the new temple to be built will also be completed as part of the forest’s action plan, said Madhuvan Community Forest Chairman Dilliram Giri.
Giri informed that to reach the temple, one can walk from Sita Community Forest, go by vehicle from Ranivan Community Forest and Madhuvan Community Forest, and use Ratamate Sundarbasti village as an alternative route. .
Giri mentioned that there is a plan to develop the area as a tourist destination by constructing a Hanuman temple while preserving the old historical places including Sita Paila, Ranipokhari, Satbhai Chihan within the Madhuban Community Forest. The temple construction committee has stated that the donation is being collected before the construction of the temple begins.
According to committee chairman Neupane, Dr. Laxmikant Pandey has collected Rs 111,011, Bhanubhakta Neupane has collected Rs 11,011, Prabin Karki has collected Rs 11,011, and Sita Community Forest has collected Rs 22,022.
