Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said that the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/083 will be presented in a way that addresses the existing problems in the country. Minister Poudel said this while understanding the report of the ministerial discussion on the budget of the National Planning Commission at Singha Durbar on Sunday.
He claimed that the government has amended the law through an ordinance to address the demands raised by the production and private sectors. Stating that legal and structural arrangements have been made to solve the problems in the cooperative sector, he said that the government is moving towards sustainable solutions to the problems of the cooperative sector.
He also claimed that the country has embarked on a journey of political stability after going through an uncertain cycle of instability. He said that destabilizing tendencies are working against stability and will not be allowed to succeed.
He said, “After going through an uncertain cycle of instability, the country has embarked on a journey of political stability. Now the country is moving towards political stability rather than instability. But destabilizing tendencies are trying to do various activities against this stability. Destabilizing, reactionary, retrogressive and anarchist tendencies are active. Sometimes populists also get involved in it. This kind of tendency is trying to create instability in the country. But I want to assure you that attempts to cause instability will be futile and futile.”
He said that all economic indicators are moving in a positive direction. He also assured that the budget would be presented in a way that would further strengthen the relationship between the people and the government and address the existing problems in the country.
