Kathmandu. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has stressed that the relations between Nepal and India should always be strong and balanced.
Speaking at a seminar on ‘Contribution of former Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar Ji to Strengthening Nepal-India Relations’ organized by the Ganesh Man Singh Foundation in Kathmandu on Monday, he said this.
He said that no matter which party is in power, both countries should move forward in the interest of the country. Deputy Prime Minister Singh also said that the role of former Indian Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar was very important in strengthening the relations between Nepal and India.
He said, ‘The relations between Nepal and India are very important. Whatever the government, whoever it may be. Be it in India or in Nepal, whichever party the government is. If we keep the relations between the two countries strong and balanced, it will be in the interest of both countries. We should all emphasize on what is in the interest of both countries.’
He says that the relations between Nepal and India have become stronger due to the harmonious relationship and character between Ganeshman Singh and Indian Chandrashekhar.
