‘Demands of protesting teachers should be addressed quickly’: Chairman Dahal

Kathmandu). Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that the demands of the agitating teachers should be addressed immediately. At a training meeting of the Newa Mukti Morcha held today (Sunday), he said that his party stands with the teachers in addressing their demands.

Chairman Prachanda said that a dialogue is underway on the role of the opposition parties in fulfilling the demands of the teachers. At the call of the Nepal Teachers’ Federation, community school teachers have been protesting in Kathmandu since Chaitra 20, demanding the promulgation of the School Education Act.
