Agency. The new government of the Indian state of Delhi has said that vehicles older than 15 years will not be supplied with fuel from April 1.
Delhi Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has said that a team of officials will soon be formed to identify such vehicles and ban their entry into Delhi.
He said that anti-smug guns should be installed in many buildings, including hotels, commercial premises and offices, to control air pollution.
Air pollution is a growing problem in Delhi. Delhi registered an air quality index of 795 in November 2024.
