Kathmandu. Executive Director of Nepal Tourism Board Deepak Raj Joshi has said that the number of tourists looking for new destinations is increasing. He said this while speaking at a meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday.
He said that the government is also moving ahead with the plan accordingly as tourism is increasing in search of new destinations. He said that the board is doing its work by catching this train as the solo travel destination is also increasing rapidly. It is also necessary to expand technology along with tourism, he said.
He said, “Tourism has increased a lot in search of new destinations. Solo travel destinations have increased. That’s the kind of train. We have to catch it up. Technology adoption has to be increased. Even if some hotels come, the quality will have to be increased. ’
He said that the government is moving ahead with plans to promote tourism in the mountains and religious areas.
