Kathmandu. Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS has been presented to help the private sector. He was speaking at a post-budget discussion programme organised by the Association of Economic Journalists of Nepal (NAFIJ) in Kathmandu on Saturday.

He said that the issue of allowing Nepalis to invest abroad is very important and historic. Overall, the budget has been made by giving priority to the private sector, he said.

He said that the private sector has always been with the government to take good decisions. He said that now the focus should be on mobilizing resources in the TAG_OPEN_span_10}}. He also said that there is a need to pay attention to the implementation of the things that have come in the budget.

He said that there is a need to pay attention to the extraction of mineral and river products. He said that the government should not be afraid to take decisions that will have a positive impact in the long run, even if it has been criticized for some time.

He also expressed happiness that priority has been given to the tourism sector. He, however, said that it was necessary to ease the cost of tourists as the cost of tourists has increased due to TDS and taxes.

Expressing happiness over the empowerment of the Investment Board through the budget, he said investors should be freed from the cumbersome process rather than a single one. Similarly, he said that if there is a synergy between the monetary policy and the budget, there will be appropriate results.
