Kathmandu. During the review period, the current account stood at Rs 255.93 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the current account was saved by Rs 193.31 billion.
In us dollar terms, the current account was saved by Rs 1.89 billion in the review period as compared to Rs 1.45 billion in the same period last year. During the review period, the net capital transfer stood at Rs 8.48 billion. In the same period of the previous year, such transfer was Rs 5.26 billion.
Similarly, foreign direct investment (equity alone) worth Rs 10.6billion has come in during the review period. In the same period of the previous year, such foreign direct investment (equity only) was Rs 7.05 billion. During the review period, the balance sheet stood at Rs 438.52 billion. In the same period of the previous year, the balance sheet stood at Rs 392.64 billion.
In us dollar terms, the balance of payments was Rs 3.23 billion in the review period as compared to Rs 2.95 billion in the same period of the previous year.
