Kathmandu. CPN (UML) MP Thakur Gaire has said that the problem of corruption and commission is not only a problem of any one person or party but a common disease of the entire country, and that a collective commitment from both the ruling and opposition parties is necessary to end it.

Participating in the discussion on the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year in the House of Representatives on Thursday, MP Gaire made it clear that the problem of corruption cannot be solved by making accusations. He said that no matter which party or position a person is involved in corruption, he should not be immune. He also said that the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year are positive.

He said that the government’s commitment to pass the education, civil service, and police-related bills from this session is welcome.

He said, “The commitment expressed in the policy and program to pass the education bill, civil service bill, and police-related bills from this session is a very positive aspect. Today, there is a tendency to express happiness by accusing each other of corruption and commission. What everyone in the ruling party and the opposition should accept is that corruption and commission are a common disease for all of us. We all need a collective commitment to end it. We cannot be free by accusing each other and shaming each other. For that, we must contribute to the implementation of the programs put forward by the government. No one is exempt from corruption and commission work. No matter what position, party, or position we are, we need to be truly present. Everyone needs to come together in this.’

He said that everyone needs to cooperate for the successful implementation of the policies and programs put forward by the government. He mentioned that the increasing youth exodus can be stopped if the youth-targeted programs put forward by the government are successfully implemented.
